Candlewood offers a clean and comfortable stay with a friendly staff. The room was well-equipped, and the kitchenette made meal prep simple. The location is excellent, allowing easy access to nearby restaurants and bars on Penn Ave. Additionally, the laundry facilities were a convenient perk.
Limited dining options and WiFi needs improvement.

But really, who designed the bed? I needed a ladder to get in! And the toilet was lower than my expectations after a fancy dinner, let’s just say that leg day wasn’t needed.

the clean room made my stay enjoyable, but be aware of potentially getting a smoking room if you book through discount websites; a kind maintenance man helped me during my wait.

I found some great local bites nearby, like the delish eats at Brewer's Bar and Grill and GNA Ristorante, perfect for a night out! Sammy at the desk made my stay brighter, helped with my luggage and called to check on me. Kudos to him!
However, I couldn't catch a break with the noise. the walls were busy clanging all night. Also, the old-school vibe of the room and lack of AC made it tough to chill out. Just wanted a smooth visit!

Family with children well accommodated
First off, the suite was roomy, with two rooms, plenty of space for everyone, and the beds were comfy enough that I could actually sleep. Plus, there was a blizzard while we were there, and the front desk clerk went out of his way, clearing snow off cars like he was a superhero or something.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was still an acceptable price for what we got.
